If somebody told me back, when I was in communistic Romania and even later when I was watching Arabella, that one day I will end up marrying somebody from Rumburak‘s country I would have said that they were crazy.

I didn’t speak Slovak and to be honest my skills are still rudimentary. The advantage that I had was that I was speaking some Czech. We got the jobs and we got the flat. The next step was figuring out how to get from one to the other on a daily basis. We had a car but we couldn’t count on both of us using it. I always preferred the public transport because I am not an experienced driver. Fortunately Bratislava has a good system of public transportation and it is fairly cheap.
A few days after our arrival to Bratislava, having started our new jobs, we were wondering if we needed to cook our lunch or we could eat some place out in Bratislava.
When we decided to move to Bratislava we already knew that we would have jobs so that part was solved. But we had other things that we had to take care. One in particular was topping the list : accommodation.
