Farm for kids, farmapark Muchomurka

ToadStool Farm

As a parent I am always interested to hear about activities and places to go with kids. I know that farmapark is a concept that grown in popularity in the last years in Czechia. But I confess that we never visited one. Till recently when we went to Muchomurka.

The farm is very close to Janske Lazne. In fact we parked the cars there and we hit the road.

On the way to ToadStool Farm

It makes for a very nice walk through the woods. If you like hiking this road could be a very nice alternative when with small kids. If you have a stroller than the road might present small challenges but it can be done.

The view is quite spectacular, the air is fresh and what was even more important there was no much traffic. 🙂 A couple of our experiences in hiking department had this main feature. I remember one time hiking in Slovakia that there were so many people that we literally rubbed elbows with the other hikers. 🙂

What we saw at Farmapark Muchomurka

Toadstool farm prices

We paid 70 CZK, but I understood that in pick season can be slightly higher.

Also the variety of animals that we could observe were not that many.

Mainly sheep, goats, geese and ducks.

On the grounds there is a little shop where you can buy a beverage and a small snack but that was all. You should plan to eat well before! 🙂

What else at Muchomurka

The place is quite big and they have added nice touches and things to do for kids.

At Farmapark Muchomurka they have also a sandbox, a trampoline a small house for kids. The sandbox was quite a success with my son. No idea why! We take him to play in the sand often. 🙂

And something that looks like petanque and even some golf clubs.

Thoughts for the end of the trip

Farmapark Muchomurka was a good experience for adults and kids. The nature is absolute amazing. The 2 km walk from Janske Lazne is totally worth it!

I was a bit disappointed with the variety of the animals but again that might be because we went off season. Overall a good experience and after that we could all enjoy a hearty meal in Janske Lazne, that is quite cute and worthy of a few hours of your time just to wonder around.

Where did you go with your kid last time?
