“Carosello” from the series “Eating in Prague” with kids

Eating with kids

Eating is not what used to be! ๐Ÿ™‚ So to all future parents out there I would say “go eat out and enjoy it”. I am not saying that you can not enjoy your food after becoming a parent, but the parameters are not the same.

Little F is used with restaurants and he behaves well in most of the cases. To be fare I also try to find kids friendly restaurants so we can all spend a good time.

Carosello, restaurant with kids corner

Since we relocated to Prague I am increasing my list of restaurants with kids corner. One of my favorite, because of multiple reasons, is Carosello. I found out that the food experience is much improved if there is a kids corner. And as it happens in Carosello they have one.

In fact they have a separate room with an open kids corner. From my point of view this is even better because in that area probably will be only families with kids and is less likely that you will receive a dark look if your kid throws a tantrum. Plus he can play with the other kids and you can see how he is behaving.

By all means the corner is not big but has enough toys to keep them busy for a while. And there are not that many tables to create the impression that you eat in a kindergarten. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Carosello’s food

Another reason why I like the place is because of the food. They have a good menu and is a combination between Italian and Mexican food. They have a good assortment of pizza, salads and pastas. But my favorite is fajitas. And the prices are acceptable, is not cheap but is not like in the center either. That partially because the restaurant is not in the center. Is in Prague 10 and is accessible by tram and bus.

Outside seating

Eating with kids is easy even when the weather is nice because they have a garden. You couldn’t tell from the main street but is quite big. And next to the garden they have a small parking. So in case you travel by car you should have a parking space. And even if the parking is full you still can park on the street because the restaurant is not in a blue zone. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Service at Carosello

Every time we went to eat there the personnel was very nice. I like to ask the waiter what kind of dish he recommends from a certain part of the menu and they were always able to tell me. ๐Ÿ™‚ Even when it was about desert. They have very good cakes brought from Dolce Carosello.

In my opinion eating with kids at Carosello can be a nice experience and a good option when looking for new restaurants.

I hope you have a nice meal! Let me know which kids friendly restaurant you recommend!
