All day fun: Fajnpark

It is not easy to find a gem but that’s what Fajnpark is. The summer of 2020 is like no other summer so we try to make the best of it.

Fortunately we can still do a bit of traveling and Czechia is quite beautiful. I shared in a previous post about our visit to chateau Kralova Koruna. In the same town there is a very big amusement park. We didn’t know anything about it before we went there and initially we thought that the prices are a bit too high.

But in fact there are many attractions that can keep a kid busy the full day.

Trampolines and bouncy castles

If your kids like to jump there are plenty of opportunities to do so. There are many trampolines in different shapes and sizes. And not only for small kids either…

But that’s just the beginning. The attractions are targeted for different ages and interests. Like for example the mini town and mini park are preferred by the younger children.
The park is in the middle of the nature so the attractions are nicely blended with the vegetation . I personally enjoyed the shadow of the trees.

Fajnpark and the insects

One unusual part of the park is the metal insects exposition.
Their size is very much exaggerated in order to highlight their characteristics. Some even have some sound.

Wild west at Fajn Park

What I liked in this amusement park was the fact there were multiple zones of interests. So kids were not bored and could try and see different things.

One could try archery and playing different instruments. Or ride a pony.

Safari and UFO cars

Safari is one of the most popular activity at Fajn Park. Many dads with kids drive the small car around pretending that they are in the wilderness.

The UFO cars are also in demand

Dino Park

The dinosaurs existed and the prove is in Fajn Park. 🙂 There are quite a few specimens in display and the kids can study them as much as they want.

Small farm

Another point of attraction is the farm: mostly sheep and goats. But you can meander as much as you want in that perimeter and I even saw a mom with a pram.

Small swimming pool

Is hot, is summer and kids like to play in the water. So they have a small swimming pool. Is nothing too big but enough to cool them a little bit.

Food and drinks and other notes

Inside the park there are a few places where you can buy drinks and snacks. There is a canteen where you can order something more substantial. They have a few options in the lunch menu from salads to gulas.

They have plenty of seating indoor and outdoor and also big toilets.

I noticed that on one side of the park they are currently building some new zone so it looks like there will be more options in the future. I tried to mentioned a few things that caught my eye but there are a few more that I missed. Like for example that they have a stage where during the day they have some kind of entertainments for kids. We saw a magician but it can be a play for kids.

They also have some other kind of games like mini basketball or table football.

Overall I think this is a good place to spend the day with kids. Especially since the place is so big and you can avoid big crowds if you want. I also liked that there were plenty of trees.
